Step into the hoofprints of Hammy the Pig in this captivating narrative-driven 2D side-scroller, inspired by George Orwell’s timeless classic, Animal Farm. Set on Manor Farm, where the ideals of Animalism were born, you take on the mantle of leadership after the passing of Old Major, the revered founder who led the rebellion against the oppressive Mr. Jones. With the farm’s independence secured but its future uncertain, every choice you make as a pig—the farm’s most intelligent animal—shapes the destiny of its inhabitants. Note: Swine Time is currently under development and not yet finished; features like morale, popularity, and prosperity bars are still in progress.

Gameplay and Controls

A Story of Choices and Consequences

As the unexpected leader, you’re thrust into a world of tough decisions. Will you uphold the egalitarian principles of Animalism, or bend them to consolidate your own power? Your actions influence the farm’s morale, prosperity, and your personal popularity, leading to a variety of endings—from leading the farm to a golden age of harmony to facing exile after a reign of ruin. Compete with Squealer, an ambitious and cunning rival pig eager to challenge your authority, and navigate the diverse perspectives of characters like:

• Clover, the maternal horse who nurtures all younglings with care.
• Boxer, the steadfast workhorse whose motto, “I will always work harder,” drives his tireless spirit.
• Benjamin, the grumpy, wise goat who remembers life before the revolution with a cynical eye.

Explore and Interact

Wander through a richly detailed farm featuring locations like the cowshed, orchard, hen house, and farmhouse. Engage with a vibrant cast of animals—cows, chickens, sheep, and more—who present you with dilemmas that test your leadership. Options might include teaching piglets to read, trading eggs with humans for resources, or prioritizing the pigs’ comfort over the herd’s needs. Each choice carries weight, affecting the farm’s status bars and unlocking unique story branches (bars to be added in future updates).

Day and Night Adventures

Experience a dynamic day/night cycle that transforms the gameplay. During the day, enjoy a playful atmosphere with cheerful interactions, while night mode unveils ghostly figures and a more contemplative vibe, adding depth to your journey. The game’s charm is enhanced by a delightful soundtrack—featuring a quirky waltz for daytime and ambient night sounds with crickets and wind—and cute, Animal Crossing-inspired sound effects for clicks, chats, and character movements.
